Building has been in the Holland family trade for three generations.
Our family's legacy in construction began with Harold Holland, civil engineer, tenured professor at University of Florida, and general contractor. After high school, Harold paid his way through college by surveying multiple sites across the state of Florida. After college, Harold joined the military as an engineer. Upon his return, he worked for various companies as a civil engineer but eventually partnered with Rex Rainer and founded THE RAINER-HOLLAND COMPANY. Harold and Rex focused on commercial and civil infrastructure development. He then went on to found UNITED PARTNERS GROUP, LTD. Along with his son Micheal, they built hundreds of homes across the state of Florida.
That inheritance is why the company operates the way it does. Holland Builders Co. was founded on the belief that a home should reflect the people living in it rather than the shortest path to a certificate of occupancy. And the process of getting there should strengthen a family rather than test it.
Leadership
Nick Holland: Founder and Licensed Contractor Nick Holland is the owner of Holland Builders Co. and holds the company's Florida residential contractor license. He oversees project delivery from first consultation through final walkthrough, personally managing permitting, subcontractor selection and client communication on every build.
Nick grew up on the job sites of his father and grandfather. He was always fascinated with building and after college, he took it up full time. Nick has both management and hands-on experience in almost all aspects of SFR construction and has been building for around a decade.
Michael (Mike) Holland: Co-owner Mike Holland co-founded Holland Builders Co. and works alongside Nick across the company's construction and renovation projects.
Nick Holland grew up around job sites. As a third generation custom home builder, he was raised on a simple standard: build it like it's your own family's home.
That standard is still what runs the company today.
